Default receiving new orders

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to request new orders?
Also is it possible to refuel/resupply the boat during a patrol?

The manual was rather vague about the new orders saying only that it was done through the radio man and was to do with the status report sent. However whenever I send a patrol report all I get is either nothing or keep up the good work.

Or 'Be more aggressive' . I'm afraid it wasn't built in...

I'll leave the resupply thingy to the experts

That's really weird because it does say in the manual that you can use the radio man station to request new orders dependent on your torpedo & fuel supply you may be sent to a new grid to patrol.

I thought this was because if you had sunk a few ships with the deck gun or still had plenty of eels left before reaching the patrol grid they would send you to a new grid with more action or a lot of convoy activity.

Perhaps I am expecting too much or reading the wrong thing into it.

Also how do you request an escort, It says you can request that but doesn't say how in the manual.

If you run out of torpedos and you send a message to BdU they order you to return to base. The rest have never been implemented (sadly).
