On one hand, i can see the logic in it. On the otherhand, it feels like something out of 1984. |

Freedom has its limits in a freedom loving society, so much is plain obvious.
.......... to put it mildly.

This is a tricky subject. It falls along the lines of if you see a person in trouble, can you be held accountable if you do nothing?
My personal feelings is, if you want to do something about it, it is your own poragative. If you don't, oh well. It is something that you must live with and no one else is your direct responsibility. The reason? There may be a reason you don't take action - ie. you may never have really heard the thing you are accused of, or better yet, did not understand its significance. The way I see it, it is not the individuals responsibilty to save the world, but it is their resposibility to insure their own way of life, so I can't agree with this judgement unless something else it tacked on top. -S |
