I'd always jumped straight into the Type VIIs before. Poor me, I'm haveing a blast in my IID right now. Just a quick little jaunt over to the English coast, unload my torpedoes and dash back to port and grateful nurses.

My crew is getting all the qualifications they want and I can almost finish a patrol before my wife notices I'm not paying attention to her.

If you install the Panama Canal, Scapa Flow, and Kiel Canal fix, your route to the hunting grounds becomes much shorter
