If anyone here still remembers Sub Command? I remember if you surfaced and broke that ice the sub stayed in that spot which makes sense that big piece of ice will prevent a sub from moving. Not in Dangerous Waters case. I surface break the ice and now I move, mistake or done on purpose?

Well for a starterd you shouldnt be moving when your surfacing under ice anyway, secondly it depends on how thick the ice is.
Some huge heavy chunks cant move but some lighter not so heavy you can move slightly.
