Default OT: recommendations for a good scanner?

I am looking for a good scanner, it should work reliable, fast, and have a high resolution and good colour representation. Scanning multiple pics in one run, like it is possible with Canon software, would be appreciated. Small size of the device is not imporant. Price: not more than 150 Euros. Purpose: I have plenty of 15X10 paper photos that I want to turn into digital images.

I am targetting the Canon Lide 500F currently, 135 euros, alternatively the Lide 60, for 60 Euros. Are there better alternatives?

Use the Force, Luke. Use the Force.
