Can someone tell me where in the manual they are explained or just explain what the settings Draw method Detail Textures Blend Textures Caustic effects Model Detail Texture do exactly? Thanx

Well lets see:
Draw method - If set to plain game engine will NOT use pixel shading effects on your video card,meaning that if u have some low-end GFX u will have higher FPS.If set to Pixel then you will have much more colourful and nicer sea plain Model detail textures,Detail textures and Blend textures - disabling this options will make your game runing smoothly if u r low on wideo memory.However enabling them will provide u with bether and more detailed textures on your ships,objects,terrains etc. Caustic - if u check underwater view u will see nice light effect on your sub.Sunlight will bend with waves above and there will be refraction of light.This effects is known as caustic.It can be seen in your bath,crystal glass... However maybe some1 from game developers can say exactly wich of DX8 functions each of this options call... ![]()
