Is there a mod that makes the entire bottom panel hidden until cursered over , the same as the side panel .

Yes the 6 Dial -simfeeling mod, like a few posts down... though I'm trying to make it so that it doesn't go down... still can't get a dark background for the messages to work...

But the simfeeling mod DOES make the whole bottom panel slide away... try it out

- otherwise you could try and add a vertslide command at the bottom of the relevant entries in the menu_1024_768.ini, I wouldn't know which ones though.
Here's an EXAMPLE of what it would look like provided you found the right entry to put it under:

[G31 I2]
Name=Buttons
Type=1026;Menu group
ItemID=0x311A0000
ParentID=0x31000000
Pos=606,769,414,42
Color=0xFFFFFFFF
VertSlide=30

I don't know what the numeric value of the vertslide means either (how far it slides?)

Maybe a more experienced modder knows a bit more on this?

Just press the '.'(the Del key) on the numeric pad of your keyboard. That makes it disappear/appear.

I know about the delete key but its just annoying.
