Default Important questions

I have some questions about Dangerous Waters, here are they.

1-Is a kind of Fleet Command succesor?? Can I command task forces, of non-controlable ships, as Arleigh Burke Class, order strike packages from carriers...

2-Are more navies apart from Us-Navy and Russian navy?? Are possible to control them, for example, can I control Spanish ships, Indian ships, or even Russian ships??

3-Is the iterface similar to Fleet Command??

1: No, it is more a sucessor of Sub Command, so you dont control entire task forces. DW is a simulator, FC was strategy

2: I'm not sure how you exactly mean it, but as i said in point 1 you do not control groups of ships, this applies for spanish and russian ones too . You can hovewer play (or should i say simulate?) as a Chinese or Russian submarine.

3: Yes, the interface is similar so you should have no problems to adapt to it.

Welcome - sorry its No x 2 1/2 there.
You sound as if you are looking for Harpoon - feel free but.... that 's a very sloooooooooooooooow game/sim.
Been there and done it. But there is no contest with DW - a real adrenalin burning tactical naval/air simulator.

If you need proof go and read the DW reviews here :-
http://www.scs-dangerouswaters.com/coverage.html

This is hands-on and many flight sim junkies share game time here or, as in my case, have 'jumped ship' .

Read, buy, enjoy and live again.

Shame, I'm more searching for a tactical game than a sim game. Will have to retain fleet command for long time.
Thank's

Dangerous Waters is a naval simulation centered on a tactical level; what you are looking for is a naval simulation at the strategic level.
