Default Another question about time compression

I've been playing Silent Hunter III for awhile and I've just started getting into DW. In SH III increasing time compression decreases your sensor range while improving your enemies, is that also true for DW?

No, that is not the case in DW.

Excellent! I must admit this sim is getting very interesting. I had to send some newly purchased memory back and since DW requires less memory than SH III I started playing around with it. I'll have a hard time figuring out which one to play when my new memory gets here.
Thanks for the answers

I think you will greatly enjoy DW as a SH3 fan. Mind you, DW is *much* more complex, but the invested time to learn the "tricks of the trade" are well worth it. Also, for me, the ability to try out some modern warfare ideas is refreshing. WWII is nice, but we all know how that ended. It is refreshing to take a peak at what might yet be....
