So far as I know only with Rubini's Harbor Traffic mod. It's not in the stock game.

Or use U-Boat War Ace Campaign - reworked-!
It contains several historic operations like the hunt for the Bismarck.

I waited ion Normandy, and I expected to see the huge convoy coming. I spent all my renown for the most expensive torps i bought in the period for May 30th 1944. I got my snorkel up and traveled there, encountering many destroyers, but did not engage them. Then i waited, and waited. 12:00am June 6th, i was excited. Then the morning became afternoon then evening. I cussed and cussed. All I got was a radio transmission that allies landed in Normandy... BAH! I'm using RuB (don't know the number, but the latest verison) and SH3 Commander.

You can see the bismark fighting the hood if you have IUB installed.

You gotta be in grid AD52 early morning on May 24th 1941, the exact place to be is 58km from the grids western edge and 36km up from the southern edge, here you will pick up war ship screws at about 5 AM.
You can just watch or try and intervene - the best part is there are no destroyers present though out the whole battle!

So, you can nail a revenge BB (Hood) and her cruiser escort making for some nice tonnage! if you have and engine upgrade you might be able to follow the bismark and her escort further and possibly bag more capitals that attack the bismark, i think another BB and an illustrious fleet carrier join in the hunt also, it just might be possible to get 10k in warship tonnage alone if you play your cards right, though it wouldnt be very historically accurate

Consider yourself lucky. A realistic Normandy would have several thousand troop and supply ships, but also 400 destroyers to protect them. By that time the channel entrances were fully mined against u-boats. As far as I know only one boat got anywhere near Normandy, and it was sunk.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't that "cruiser escort" the BB Prince of Wales?
