All,
Has anybody considered/tried/done a mod for SH3 which includes the Walter H2O2 U-Boats? I was wondering if SH3's code/file structure would allow such a 'beast'. As i'm in work fight now i cannot go rooting around in my SH3 folders but i was thinking that the individual U-Boat data files could be modified so that the max underwater speed would become their 'walter' speed (say 24 knots for 6 hours), with the other lower speeds (when selected underwater) would be various slow electric motor speeds. I'm sure there are experten on this forum who would be able to answer my questions regarding this. I've allways had a bit of a soft spot for the Walter U-Boats, and i'd really love to see them in SH3. Thanks in advance. Sniper_1

Not on me as i'm in work
![]() The big ocean going Type XVIII Walter Boat was the basis for the TypeXXI, so if anybody wanted to model the Type XVIII, they could use the TypeXXI, all they would need to do to the in-game model would be to add condensor inlets/outlets to the rear of the model, around where the diesel room is in the TypeXXI. As for actually making the design 'work' properly i.e. give it sustained, high-speed underwater performance, thats another matter alltogether ![]() Sniper_1
