So I'm shooting at a 30 knot target with a 55kt torpedo with 27nm range (basically a Mk48)... ... what is the maximum launch range that will garantee my torp will not be outrun by the target? 12nm? 15nm? :hmm: Anyone that can crutch the numbers for me? A formula that can be used to determine the launch range versus the torp speed and range would be great...
