Submarines in ww2 didn't go above around 20 kts...

You could try wolfie's tweak pack which I believe can raise time compression to 4096X.

Time Traveller has a program called SH3 Inspector. You can adjust a lot of things on all the subs it's quite simple to use as well.

I think it can be found here: http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/

I never tried it but I think you can make it so you Uboat can go 40kts or even faster or make it able to submerge to 900m.

The maximum REAL submarine speed in the game is about 20 knots

I reach 19-20 knots surfaced in calm waters in my new IX-B with a supercharger installed

Also be careful with the values, a very high speed you can drain your fuel very fast because the engine burns like hell at 20 knts

You can use the program I mentioned to change the range of the Sub as well. I've done this myself. RuB has a built-in Milk Cow in that it increases the range of the VIIC (as an example) to 12000 km @ 10 kts to simulate refueling at sea. The actual range of a VIIC I'm almost 100% certain was 8500 km @ 10 kts so I adjusted it down. Worked like a charm! Just increase the range to 48000km @ 10kts or something like that and presto!! A nuclear powered sub in '43!!!

Thanks again TT! Great program.

... Or you could just play using "unlimited fuel" in your realism settings.
