Default GW an NYGM mix - dials questions

Hi All,

I have mixed Gray Wolf and NYGM mods ok. (both great mods).
I have 1 minor problem with the 3 dials on lower right of screen, speed, compass, and depth. When I click on the compass button, I now get the Chronometer. I would like to get the orig. rudder control back.

Can someone tell me what and where to make the chgs necessary? I tried and have given up.

If you look in the NYGM readme, I believe it explains how you can change that.

Its some entries in the menu_1024_768.ini file.

If you do not want to do them yourself and you are using GW1.1 + hotfix with NYGM on top I can provide a working version for you.

If you want to look for yourself google for winmerge - a good program to compare text files. Then compare the different menu_1024_768.ini files and you will see that its quite simple.

A pity so many mods HAVE to change this file - so you have to merge menu.ini of differetn mods to get them working together.

Now Im using GW1.1 +hotfix, NYGM, EUC, sliding panels and TDC mod. Each changes the menu_1024_768.ini file..

Phylacista,

YES, I woul appriciate any help you can give me.

Also the lower right comapss/rudder was changed to compass/chronometer .....why when there was a chronometer already?

I tried to remove that for 2 days and finally gave up.

You can e-mail me at purpjj1@yahoo.com

That is because the draggable chronometer is part of GW and if you use NYGM alone thats one solution getting a chrono when in map screen. I liked it first but with the draggable chrono its obsolete.

I sent you an mile with JGME friendly files - hope this works for you!
