"DVD Only"?

Hello,
I just got my copy of sh3 and need to go pick up a dvd drive. I looked at the system requirments and for the dvd-rom it says 4x or faster then in big red letters it says DVD ONLY. What does this mean? What type of drive will be compatable?

u can get a dvdrom (read @ 16x dvd 52x cdrom) for 20$ retail. Bascially any dvdrom drive will work.
