Default Is it released or not?

Everyone on the forum is talking like this game's been out for months, but the strategyfirst.com site says it's not out yet. Am I missing something... is it possible to buy this awesome game today?

It was originally released on Battlefront.com last spring; it was only available for online purchase. SCS and Battlefront ended their relationship about a month ago.

The retail release from Strategyfirst is just around the corner.

Hey Tuee,

Just as ML said, we are no longer distributing Dangerous Waters on-line through Battlefront.com, but we will be shipping the game Nov 22nd, 2005 (North America) and Jan/Feb 2006 (rest of the world) through Strategy First.

Check back to this page (link) often, so you can see when you will be able to order the game directly from Strategy First on-line or visit your favorite North American retailer on November 22nd... just 11 days and counting!

Thanks!

Will the retail version still boast the full-size game manual? Also, if I order the game online and I don't feel like killing a small forest to print it out myself, can I order just the manual?

To my knowledge the printed manual will not be shipped with the Retail. However according to Jamie it should be available through SCS (or maybe SFC too) at the same time or shortly after Nov. 22nd. Of course the PDF Manual will be on the CD.

My hope is that the old printed manual will get an updated "Adennum" if needed. Or I'll just have to read the new PDF manual and figure out what differs from the old manual. I would think that with the two or three patches that are being worked on now that there may be some changes in the game that should be reflected in the manual.

I may just put off reading the printed manual until the Patch 1.03 gets here and I can see the new PDF manual. I don't want to learn something then have to unlearn it later due to some changes in the game.
