oliver hazard perry FFG 7 class info request

anyone here been on served on currently serveing on a FFG7 frigate ?

id like to find out what there realy like and why the US navy has them,

reason:

well there getting old and well they dont realy have mch of a purpose any more.

also if there is any flaws in the design please share if you can i know about the propellor flaw but others would help me create a back ground picture
