Default Net Cutters...

Hey All,

Would it be possible to add the Net Cutters to the Type VIIC?

Thanks,
Wolfy

I would like to see that myself, same style as the VIIb.
ANd according to my Original 1941-42 Kriegsmarine Warship recognition guide , there were several equipped with it ,U-45 for example.
And if not the whole time they atleast had it during the early times.
I would really welcome a mod like that.

It is most important though that the NEW cable fixes, flagpole, etc.

are put together/merged with Sergbuto's reflections/wake fixes VERSION 2

If anything that should be fixed to be historical then its the incorrect deck railing on the early war version on the VIIC It looks so stupid and should have been fixed by the devs .I mean what could be so hard to do a minor change in the deck railing on the early VIIC?

Weren't the netcutters removed from the boats for better aquadynamic performance?

I was told they were more eyecandy in peacetime than usefull equipment...

they wouldn't work because the nets ingame arent really nets, they are chain link. it'l only be aesthetic.

Yeah im mostly for it just for the eye candy

I would like to see it because I just like the way the boats look with it on the front and every time I watch Das Boot and see the VIIC with the net cutter on the front I wish it was like that in SH3.

Oh well, for now my trusty VIIB will work, its sank many ships and has eluded many destroyers

To me it's also just an issue of making the boat look just right. Sorta balances everything out.
