Default IuB and Rub What's the difference?

Ok, I know they are made by different people and do pretty much the same things, but what are the main diferences?

I'm not trying to start a this mod is better than that mod thread, I'm just currious. I've been using Rub, but wondering if I'm missing out on anything, or if I can(or should) merge them.

IUb is a mod collection, it includes RUb, the Harbour Traffic mod and many graphic and sound enhancements. If you are interested to try it you should wait, the new version comes out very soon.

The only major RUb feature that was changed is the deck gun reload time (10 seconds instead of 60).

Improved Uboat is what I use. It's a one stop shop collection of mods, and Includes RUB (which in itself is a large collection of fixes and enhancements).

IUB makes it easy to to a massive MOD upgrade in one easy step. The only disadvantage is you have to wait a little longer for enhancements to make it through the pipeline.

New version is due out any day...OrGy?

With IUB, can I be selective about which mods I want implemented? Is it easy to enable/disable mods?

No, you cannot select the mods. But it is quite easy to disable some of them, the changes are documented, so you can theoretically overwrite those changes with the original SH3 or some other files.

That's helpfull. One of the things I liked about RuB was I could read the readme and find out which files I needed to mess with to change/remove/tweak it.
