Never heard that word before either, so looked it up at http://dict.leo.org. This is what I found:
....a student of mine recently described the wedding of Charles & Camilla as ''not as orotund as the Charles/Diana affair.'' (LEO provided the translation of pompös). I had to confess I had never seen the word, but now discover it can be used for the voice (full, loud and grand, or to describe speech or writing (boastful or self-important, pompous). From the Latin ore rotundo, ''with rounded mouth''.... Does this bring us closer to your question? Were you talking about voice control? Then this might be helpful: Search for 'Silent Hunter III Voice Command v2.4' on this page: http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files05/patches2005.html I hope this helps! Cheers Kai |
