Default IDEA FOR WOLF PACKS FOR ALL YOUR MODDERS

Well the way AOD had there wolf packs were you site a convoy and then after that radio in a contact report then on your map screen a bunch of uboats will apear. Then after they have done a run they take the escorts away then you make a run on the convoy. They will radio to you when you are able to attack. This is very realistic even on das boot they were radioed and told of a convoy and then moved in unfortunatly the other uboat was depth charged. If you need the copy of aod I have a full copy+ the expansion and will be willing to send it to a modder if he can maybe incorperate a script for wolf packs

...if only it were as easy as it sounds

There's been some breakthroughs which make wolfpacks more likely, but the absence of a sub AI in the game, or any possibility to re-write the game's code, is making it rather difficult at the moment.

Personally, I doubt that wolfpacks will really ever be possible in SHIII as it stands now.
