Default What is ALL this X1 biz about?

I have been away for a few months but I have noticed some posts and threads about a company called X1? They claim to have an unoffical ADDON for SHIII with a Pacific edition? How is this possible without the SDK? I thought the SDK was off-limits for this game completely because UBISoft may use it for THEIR POSSIBLE ADDONS and EDITIONS? So how did this small company get hold of it if they did? If not, how is it even possible for them to SELL anything to ADDON or enhance the game further? Did they get premission from UBIsoft or something? That doesn't make sense!
Thought a few months back the combatplanes.com team got into some hot water about this issue, so I am just wondering how this X1 company is able to package a product and sell it off as an ADDON for Silent Hunter III. Something seems wrong here!!! :hmm:

When is this ADDON suppose to be released and for how much is it selling for? If it's already out does anyone have it and is it any good? Are we able to play as American or British Subs with new interiors and new crews?

Thanks!

X1 have "borrowed" mods from the SHIII community, put them in a one pack, advertise it as a unofficial expansion and sell it.

They sell addon that has mods, that you can download for free.

That is B.S. if the makes of the mods didn't want their hard work to be sold!!!

WTF!?!

How is THIS legal?

Is there any legal action being taken? There should be!!!

That is a class action lawsuit just beconing to be explored!!!

What a shame that someone or some people would STEAL from some else and sell their work without giving credit to those who did the work in the first place!!!

Does UBIsoft know about this and what is their stand point considering the OVERALL product is there's.

I'm sorry but I just can't believe that a company would STOOP to such a level and be so greedily desperate for some easy cash!

MY PROTEST SPIEL...

X1 CAN BURN IN HELL,
IF THEY MAKE IT,
IT WON'T SELL!!!

X1 CAN BURN IN HELL,
IF THEY MAKE IT,
IT WON'T SELL!!!

P.S.

X1=
Maybe we need to shove STARFORCE up their arses!!!
