Default What does all this mean

I am one of those who really use these forums, and while I am still trying to learn DW and really depended on the discussion forum to receive advice, it is pulled or canceled-what ever.
Do we get help here, what about techical problems, where do we go for that?
If you detect I am concerned and some what upset you would be correct. I don't understand, a sim comes out still has bugs suppose to be a new patch coming out and BAM we are gone. I like many I paid my money and expected help and info so now I don't know what to expect, except for a "political statement" that tell me at least, nothing. I know, at least for me this Sim has never lived up to it's hype, my hope is that the wizards of SubSim work the same miracle they did with SC.
The way I see it, I probably better stick with 688i and SC, hey this is know refelction on SubSim Review, you guys have always been a class act, and I hope you read this for what it is, a concerned dedicated palyer that is trying to figure out what is the future of DW and problems we have.
I believe you will agree that $50 bucks for an incomplete sim is hardly fair.

Very repectfully,

battlefront.com and sonalasyst jamie is a rep of sonalasyst

should you not be able to return a damaged or incompleate item because the company refused by UK law your eligable to sue for miss information and also the bord of trading standards would also remove every copy in every shop until the problem is solved

What exactly are you complaining about? DW and SCS are not "gone". Patch 1.02 is forthcoming and is already being tested (sort of, I'll let Jamie explain it "officially" if he wants).

DW is not abandoned. It's already far better than SC (in my opinion of course) and patch is in the works.

If you need official technical help go to SCS forums at

http://www.scs-dangerouswaters.com/

More specifically forums at:

Default Misunderstanding

I know my e-mail was negative, I apoligize for that and I do not want to return the game, I am trying to find out exactly where we stand on this sim. It certainly is not clear, at least to me, what is going to happen.
And really, I go on line to see what is going on and what new stuff is there and -no forum-just some archive, and also remember there are some of us who don't have the knowledge that many of you have, that is why we rely on these forums. I consider most of you the experts nand in the past you have been a great help to me. I would like to see DW become the sim that SC became. Itr just looked to me that Battle Front had just dumped it and we were on our own.
I was not knocking anyone or any organization, I was just concerned that the plug had been pulled.

Respectully,

Ron Banks MMCM(SS), USN(Ret)

You've got to remember that the DW site that was hosted from BF was NOT the official DW site, and wans't updated to reflect the signing of a retail deal.
It also still pointed to the (now unused) BF forums instead of the current and used SCS official forums.

Of course an easy thing to do would have had them pointing over to the SubSim forums, but that was mentioned ages ago and i cant remember the exact reason behind not using these forums.

Anyway...

The official DW site is

http://www.scs-dangerouswaters.com/

And the official forums can be found here
