I am using a few mods in my game and the ones that are relivant here are the HT mod, and the sansal milk cow mod made for HT.
I am in a Career ands its 1941, Ive just docked at Tunis to resupply, after making the agonising trek trough the gibralter strait. Now when i start a mission at tunis The uboat is under the ground. I can move, but as soon as i do i crash. all i can do is end the mission, and start right back over at the same postion. Im sure there has to be a file where i can set my starting long and lat for the particular base, but i cant find it. any help would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to abandon my career because of this. |

modhs,
Thanks for the feedback. When I made the last HT mod I put new bases on the Mediterranean like Tunis. But I only realize that is possible to resupply in any German base and even in axis bases (like Italian and Japanese ones) after iniciate the work with the milk cow mod. So the problem is simple: it's needed to revise all german and axis bases in the mod to see if they don't start in a wrong position like you describe. So sorry, I only will fix this in the next release (next week). For now just "resupply" on the "oficial" milk bases/ships or in the stock germans /axis bases. If you find another bug like this, please let me know to be corrected until the next release. Many thanks to use these mods! ![]() PS: if really want to know how to fix it for your career post here again and I will explain to you. Rubini. |

rubini,
thank you for the reply. I am able to fix my starting postion on the tunis base by editing my career.cfg file to different long and lat values. I am just guessing values until i find a pair that starts me kind of near the base and in the water. do you have any idea what these long and lat values mean? PortName=Tunis DeparturePointLong=1342147.000000 DeparturePointLat=4525615.000000 DeparturePointHeading=7.000000 Is there a way to convert these to the regular format of 36º 52', and then back again. Also The next base southeast on the map, Tripoli has the same starting postion problem. |

Yes, like I said until I revise all the new bases start position you will probably find more wrong positions in other bases. Please advise me when you encounter them.
The easy way to do this is open the SCR in the mission editor and just relocate the naval bases in a correct start point; this way you don't will mess with manual edit of the long or lat. Rubini. |
