Topless AI sub

I was going out on patrol when I passed an AI sub coming in, and noticed it had no conning tower or deck gun, it looked just like the one being built on the dockside. Is this a bug or has it lost it's entire top in battle?? Over to you chaps and chappesses

But no I have never seen a sub "missing" any parts before - what mods/version you running?

No it aint a bug, some kapitans became very paraniod about been spotted while on the surface. You happened to just meet one coming back from patrol.

you probably should update your harbor traffic... are you at 1.46?

if you are, then try installing it again...

In case, it is a real bug and not the result of bad install, It is important to provide info on the type of the sub and timeframe/date when this happened.

Ya, I've loaded up a mission before and been missing the deck cannon and flak guns. It just means you have to score direct hits with your torps if you want to score at all. I've found this to be the case when the game was loaded up the first time after my PC was completely shut down. Also I've had loading problems with the crew. For example, I would only get 1 machinist and 5 not 6 torpedo loaders or no sound man at all. This has happened a few times and I always pick a veteran crew.
