Bathymetric Accuracy?

Salute to all Bubbleheads!
Just purchased DW and am waiting for it to arrive. I was a long time player of Sub Command and loved it. A close friend of mine with good working knowledge of SC (Charles Burgess) told me once that the underwater terrain of SC was a very good approximation of Real Life. And i was wondering if DW is accurate enough to go as far as to purchase Bathymetric Charts to use in conjunction? If so does anyone already do this? If yes have any ideas where i could get a good set of charts?

virtualy the same few changes have been made so i think but there are areas that need ajusting
