Default How do I load reserve torps!

I have a crippled Destroyer that managed to stay afloat after my last torp struck home. I hit him from over 3k out and am now circling him at periscope depth. I can't very well engage him with the deck gun since he still totally out guns me and will rip me apart on the surface. I still have two torps reserve in the Weapon managment screen but don't know how to load them. all my slots are greyed out but I still have two Torps in my belly. This is infuriating. No amount of dragging and dropping is working.

What am I doing wrong?

1. You have to be surfaced to load the external torps
2. You have to have crew in your torp room to load them.
3. When the above are accomplished, just move them with the
mouse to where you want them to go. It will tell you the time
involved to do that. If you can't surface there, move to where
you can (safe distance) and then return to finished the job.
Be Advised...This may take sime time to get it done....

Thanks, I should be able to back off and load the fish. My Destroyer isn't going anywhere he's in serious trouble.

You have to drag them from the external reserve to the internal reserve. The icon will not change places, but it will slowly grow smaller as the transfer takes place, disappearing altogether when done. You can hold the cursor over the icon to see how much time is left.

Just for fun I don't transfer the externals unless the sea is glass smooth and I can stop for an hour.

Ok I still have a slight problem. I am surfaced and am trying to drag the torps to the appropriate slots but when I hover the cursor over the torp is just says its waiting in a que to be loaded.

No matter what I don't seem to be getting any progress done. Do you need an officer in the rooms?

Wait I will try again..

Nope, I have both torp rooms maxed out and I'm surfaced safely in glassy water and I still cant load my reserves. Just continues to say that they are in que but no matter what it won't change.

This is annoying I need those torps!

Make sure you secure from silent running! Otherwise no torps are to be reloaded.

An admirable approach. In fact, that should be a restriction in the game. And your dive time if interrupted should be greatly lengthened, and the torpedo lost if outside the hatch and ...

Well, no game is perfect.

No game will ever have 100% accuracy. It would take 20 yrs
to create it and cost very much $$$....

JIM

PS. And players WOULD STILL gripe !!
