Is it possible to keep career when reinstalling?

Hi, im having an issue with the sonar sounds when the sub is stopped. (A very annoying sound emits as soon as the machines are stopped) I would like to check if this is a problem with stock SH3, as I installed GWX2.0 before even starting SH3. (Returning after one year vacation)

If I re-install SH3, and then re-installs GWX2.0; is it possible to continue my career, or do I have to start all over?

Yes you can continue your career ! All the needed files for your career are kept in your documents folder away from the ubisolft folder. I have never had a problem. So long as the game you are reinstalling is the same version/mod that you were using.
