Are these maps also consistent with Rubini's latest Harbor Traffic mod?...

Has he released an Ops/RUb 1.43 compatible version already?

If so, maybe yes, maybe not.

But these are what you'll see in RUb 1.43 "out of the box", so to say. Taken right from the mission editor of the actual campaign SCR file.

Nope, not yet afik... I'm using HT 1.45, that's why I was askin if the minefield and subnet locations are the same as shown on the Rub Maps...

Nope. In the traffic mod the position of minefields and subnets are slightly different... :hmm:

So far it looks like this version of RUB has hit the jackpot. Now with these maps it's all the better. I'm a big fan of Rubini's traffic mods. is there a chance that both Rubini's nets/mines can be in sync with RUB? Since Rubini is making a 1.43 compatible traffic version.

Thanks mod team for all the work.

HEMISENT,

The position of the minefields&subnets are not a problem. If needed I will post screen shots of the departure harbours too. And I will release a version without them (no minefields or subnets). I'm only awaiting a while for the RUb and Ops team listen the ever wellcome feedbacks without other mod changing their hard work.

Rubini,

I have been using your new mod since it came out last week. It is terrific, although I wish the WO AI knew the difference between an obvious friendly and an unknown. It gets a little tedious trying to sail out of the harbor at TC without getting an update every five seconds or so.

However, I have had two instances in which I was moving at TCx32 or so and I received the "death by collision" screen. It is not from hitting land. The first time I had the issue I was coming home and was trying to get just close enough to get the "dock at:" option. I assumed I somehow accidently struck the escort sent out to greet me. The second time I was on my way out. The escort had cleared me and I was well out of its way. I can only assume it was one of the patrol craft I struck.

Any ideas? I can be more careful how close I get to the harbor on my way in. But I don't know what I can do differently on the way out if the escort is safely passed.

shipkiller,

Two possibility:

For the first instance perhaps you collide with the subnet,

The second crash I think that is likely because you reload a previous saved game while in the harbour.... :hmm: ...it's a SH3 fault, the game engine don't save the waypoints for scripted units, see more on the readme file.

Rubini,

I respectfully disagree on the second point.

I do not save games during a patrol.

I actually have a bit of a request...

Does anyone know where to find the game's nav map? I think it might be a neat idea to draw the minefields on the actual game nav map, for those who want to see them, but I don't know how to go about that...
