Sound adjustment for music vs Engine noise?

What settings are suggested for having the music a little louder than the diesel engine noise. Any suggestions appreciated. thanks. Bob

I do not have Any suggestions in regards to what is an appropriate sound level. I think that is a matter of personal taste. How ever I do suggest you try out "Rulle34's" electric motor mod. I find it to give the engines vs music a good and ambient balance. Also I have been using the "Das Boot" music theme pack. I find that they both in contrast work well together....... :|\ welcome aboard mate.....

terrapin has a great site that you can and will find a plethora of mods and navel information. I think it least to say that his site is a" must have" Bookmark... and of course here at Subsim.

I use the Incognito diesel engine mod and Internal Life Mod Version 1.2.
Got the music on the background ( music -14 db in sound options ).
but as Redstorm said it's pesonal taste but I'm happy with it as it is

Mud is right! I forgot to mention the Internal Life Mod Version 1.2. I also use this mod .It adds a feeling that your crew is moving around you....Good call MUD!.......
