Default Have you run Out of O2?

There have been a number of posts from skippes about being DC'd by ships, planes, and of course the collision deaths.

I was thinking last night about this and I was wondering: has anyone lost a career/crew from suffocation?

Anyone manage not to be crushed by depth but unfortunately be unable to lift their boat to the surface for air before that precisous resource ran out?

Yes, actually.

I was in a type IID. I had decided to raid a port (Dover if I remember right). As I was trying to make a silent egress, I got the death screen. I was puzzled and reloaded. Turns out I thought I had more oxygen than I really had.

Syxx_killer, thanks for the honesty. What did the screen of death say was your undoing: suffocation, CO2, or other?

Didn't you get the warnings about low O2?
