Playing OneAlex - everytime boot is diving, it get´s destroyed (overpressure) at around 11-12m and deeper.
Please tell me, what is wrong? Is this a known bug? ![]() |

Did you receive damage from attacks previously? Or accidentally dived beyond crushdepth? That reduces your boat's integrity. Though 11m is very shallow to get crushed again to death by existing damage.
Make sure you are not diving in areas where there are minefields.

Hi, no.. I started a new campaign and did first mission and war is not still there. Left port and want to do some test divings. Hull is 100%, no damage. Everytime boot dives, it gets lost.
There is no reason why boat gets totally lost when diving. Maybe a bug or something not working with my mods. Started another campaign, no problem with this one. |

There are minefields near most ports in SH3. You can see them on pull down minefield maps on the navigation display or by using SH3 editor.
More likely, the water depth near some ports is not very great, particularly in the Baltic. You need about 70m under the keel to do a crash dive properly and around 30m if you abort the crash dive as soon as you are underwater. Get the navigator to check depth under keel before you hit the C key! The seabed in SH3 is full of ill tempered sea bass who damage any boat that hits the bottom. They get more angry the faster the boat is travelling. |
