Need help with Warship Mod 3.0 on GWX 3.0 Gold Edition

I just recently installed GWX 3.0 Gold Edition after years of playing vanilla only and the Surface Ship mod Warship Mod 3.0 thats supposed to work with GWX doesn't work properly it has tendency to target ally (axis ships (this also happened on vanilla and idk how to fix it (also regular subs target axis ships so I don't know whats going on))) and the career doesn't work properly and crashes whenever I start a new campaign (this wasn't a problem on vanilla). Sometimes the singlemissions don't load all the way and crash and its really annoying and I'd really love to try GWX with surface ships if theres an alternative to the Warship Mod I'd really love to try another.

If the singlemissions do load the ships are usually halfway submerged and the map doesn't show the little line in them the O and []'s like it did in vanilla

Some of the missions are just weird like in Bismarck the Bismarck dies within 2-5 minutes and I don't remember it being super fragile like it is currrently.

On Narvik where destroyers are set to Axis even without the warship mod enabled the subs still target axis ships
