calculate attack only with periscope

Hi,

Does anyone know some cheat sheet / info on how to calculate the attack using only the periscope?

In SH5 I used the RAOBF disc but in Uboat all I seem to get via mod is the attack disc and am unsure how it relates to the measurements on the periscope. Working out speed is easy but everything else quite difficult to figure out, especially AOB!

! If at night against a convoy, use the 'Silent Otto" Kretschmer's method of entering the convoy from astern and, always mindful of your eel's arming distance,(300 metres) fire with zeroed scope into the target's stern. from directly astern. Try for Otto's motto: "one eel, one ship".

You can be submerged or at 'decks awash". I prefer steam eels set on high speed for this maneuver. Kill or cripple as many targets as possible in a short time frame; dive to avoid any interceeding escorts using the convoy's vessels as cover; and return at leisure after the convoy has moved on to finish off the defenseless cripples with the deck gun(fromm 1000 metres in case they have a stern gun

such as Liberty ships) or an electric eel. Use the time ,also, to transfer external eels to the interior. Good luck.
