Steam
I'm back. It's been awhile.
Anyway, I loaded up an old computer and I'll be darned if there isn't an SH3 with GWX installed on it. But, the computer is old and slow. So, I bought a new copy on Steam and I'm ready to rock and roll. Except that I cannot get GWX to install. So, I downloaded the Steam-Fix but it looks like it wants me to tell it where the SH3 has been installed, and I don't know. How can I figure this information out? I went through Program Files looking for UbiSoft, but I cannot find it. |

The answer is, I channeled my old DOS days and ran cmd.
Then I typed in: cd \ dir silent*.* /s and I found it at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common Then I copied the Silent Hunter 3 directory to c:\ And ran the fix on the copied directory then I installed GWX with no issues. |
