Mouse responsiveness in UI fix

I have searched but couldn't find any help with this. I find that the mouse is a bit laggy, both with movement and especially with clicking.

Like when flipping through the recognition manual I usually have to click the arrow twice for it to have any effect. The mouse movement seems to be at 30Hz, except if I enter mouse control of a view (e.g. binoculars) where it is nice and smooth.

Anyone encountered this or know how to fix it?
