TWOS Torpedo Lock question

Hi all. So I've been away from the game for quite a few years. I've recently reinstalled SH5 and also installed the TWOS pack. When I wish to make a torpedo attack though I can't seem to figure out how to lock onto a target when using the attack periscope. I've checked that the manual target system in the option is unchecked. I've search online for an answer but failing to see anything to help me.
Figured I'd ask here as I'm sure you guys will be able to help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
