Can't enter flak or deck guns and also All Stop issues

Hi

Just reinstalled SHIII after a long absence. Having a couple of problems.
F10 and F11 man the flag and deck guns don't work. And I have manned them with crew. So far I have to reply on the crew to fire the guns and I can't take over.

Also the All Stop key isn't working. It's supposed to be ~ which is to the left of the number 1 on an American KB, but I am UK and the symbol is `.

Any help appreciated

1 other issue I am having is when I am locking targets the mouse cursor disappears. I left click to get it back and end up firing torpedoes. Is there a way to avoid this?

I can't help with the deck guns or the all stop, but the accidental firing of torpedoes is caused by having the resolution at 1920×1080 I believe. My workaround for that is hitting the esc key before I come out of the periscope so the cursor doesn't hit fire and kill some innocent fish when I exit.

Edit. I just noticed you can get to the deck and AA guns by hovering your mouse to the top left of the screen.

Fixed it just by goining with normal resolution as that got me in the gun positions.

Also fixed the all stop issue by switcging from UK to US Keyboard.

Thank you both for the warm welcome. I saw Cold Waters on steam and Instantly wanted to play Silent Hunter III again. Which I haven't really played in detail much since it was first released, and I was around 8 then. Kind of crazy how good memories can bring you back to a game even after so much time has passed.

I like the site, wished I had even half of the resources back then as I do now. Hope to donate to the site one day when I'm in a better financial situation. Collage and my two horses consume all my money.

Do you have any mods activated, or are you using the Stock game? If you have mods, where do you have SH3 installed. In other words, what is the "path" to your game, such as "C:\Program Files (x86) \Silent Hunter..." or similar? Thirdly, do you have crewmen at the gun positions? Is there ammunition available? Are you at Battle (Action) Stations? If you have crewmen at the gun stations, are they by chance exhausted?
