Buying SH5 through steam

I have the game on ubisoft and its been a horrific pain in my backside. Is there a way to buy it through steam so that the ubisoft page doesn't pop up?

The Steam game will also use the Ubisoft UConnect applet, which is a bother. Once you have the game installed, you want to set UConnect to offline mode.
