Patrol confusion - Only choice is same patrol

Hi.

SH5 + TWOS. First Patrol - Poland, both objectives completed, BDU relocated me to Kiel, Approached. Got docking anchor icon. Clicked complete patrol.

Then had a blether with the man in the hat who gives out patrols and the only patrol available to me is the same one I've just completed but I can't accept it. I can click on it, view the info tab but not accept.

So. It's September the 3rd and the patrol ends on the 4th. I've already completed it but can't select it and nothing else is available. Do I just need to hang around the bunker for 24 hours in time compression until 00:00 on the 4th?

This plus so many other frustrating issues with sudden jumps to flank speed when opening the map, the sub stopping following the plotted course for no reason, loss of sounds, is making me more unhappy than a U Boat Captain who missed the Happy Time because he slept through it.

I'm quite happy to invest time in a game that needs some love but it's rapidly becoming too needy but I want to lurve it so much.

Apparently you have to wait until 4th of september to dock in order to start the coastal waters mission.
I too really want to love this game. I install it once a year, play a little bit. Get frustrated and uninstall because of the numerous bugs. TWOS do fix some of the vanilla ones, but brings in its own share of new ones.

On the bright side, there is a new submarine simulation game under development called Uboat, that looks promising.

Thanks, I restarted the patrol and will wait until the correct date this time.

And I'm like you. Dig the game out, spend more time getting it to work and then give up. I've been keeping an eye on Uboat for a while now. Looks good. Might even splash some cash on it.
