Beautiful... all those lovely trees

I've only seen one or two of these before. And I could have sworn I was looking at the work of Norwegian painter Peder Mønsted some of the time... look him up and you'll see how he fits right in here. I don't know why these artists' work is so little seen

Peder Monsted as mentioned by Eichhörnchen. I did not know him. I like these kind of paintings and scenes very much.

The name Peder Mønsted sounded Danish so I made a search

And this is one of my most favourite painters, i have one painting by him on my wall: Leonid Afremov. He is quite unmistakable in style and technique: its all palette knife. I also like his colouring, like in dreams I used to have plenty of in my youth.
