What is the process for making custom background music?
Ik how the gramophone music works but I assume the background music is done differently

You can make whatever music you want with a sound editing software program. The files then go in folder data\sound\music.
Note the music.cfg file in the same folder for further details.

Gramophone also takes .ogg and .mp3 (and maybe .wma too, as I seem to have them in there, but not sure I ever heard them) in the SilentHunterIII\data\Sound\Gramophone folder. Best is not to mix the formats though. All the same kind preferably.
