Uploading images - Funny Pics

I note that most have large images we can all enjoy but when I attach an image its a poxy little thumbnail. Which link am I doing wrong? I must have forgotten something?

It's because you have used Subsims own picture server(not the correct word I know) this is why the picture we upload to our account is small and gets bigger when one click on it.

The solution is finding a homepage, where you can upload your picture to and then link it in your answers

Like in Funny picture thread.

It depends on which image hosting site you use, two examples below will use a largish image even though they both have a different way of linking the image.

BBCode full linked for imgBB

Hotlink for forums is for postimg

I dont use third party images software, but I'll have a look at Jimbuna's link. Thanks. I am also suspicious at what third party do with our images.

I believe they only get to store it if you select "share to community" but their terms and conditions will tell you more. I use "Imgur"... very quick and simple:

That's not how you do it you bloody prawn,
USE imgbb.com it's much simpler, after uploading an image select the little arrow under (Embed codes)
Then select BBCode full linked and copy the url and paste it into a post, easy peasy, if you do it right you'll get this hot young lady, comprende.

Copy your image into a folder on your PC

Open "Imgur" & click on "Choose Photo/Video"

This opens a browsing window so you can locate your folder & the image; you now double-click the image to ulpoad it to Imgur's screen

When it says "Upload Completed" click on the 3 dots next to "Copy Link" & this will present a dropdown from which you select "Get Share Links"

You'll then get another dropdown from which you must select "BBCode (Forums)" (click on its green "Copy Link" button)

All you need to do now is paste into your Subsim window

As as computer illiterate myself: 1 rt. klic on photo; 2 scroll down & rt. klik on 'copy image link'; 3 POST: [img] [/img]
4 then insert the 'copy image link' using ctrl & V key simultaneously between the posted [img] ^ [/img]: voila! < if an idiot
