Hi, new to this game, but loving it so far. Old time SH3 player here
![]() Patrolling on the West side of Scotland. A sunderland cought me offguard and sunk me. Fortunatly only 50 meters deep. Worst damage was in forward torpedo room, and I ended up closing the heatch. And after some time got the rest of the damage under controll. After managing to pump out all of the water in the rest of the boat, we managed to surface. And I am trying to get back home. But the boat are on the brink of sinking, and the "alarm" status don't go away, and crew morrale are gone. I usually never save and reload, only "iron" man for me ![]() Every atempt at opening the compartment to fix the damage ends up with me sinking and all hands lost. what could I have done difrent, and are there anything I can do now? Seems my crew is slow to get in there, and are not able to plug the damage before its to late. |

Quick update, after a while I got far enought from enemy ships most likely, and far enought from land for high time compression. Did that for a short while, and magic, the boat are fixed, all water from torpedo room gone. So how did all that happen?

Good rule of thumb is engage the pump the second you receive any damage. Give rebreathers to your engineer personnel so that they can go into flooded compartments to make repairs.
