(DW)Windowedmode GraphicdisplayContentsError

Hello.

I'm new to Dangerous Waters from Steam.

I'd like to play DW in windowed mode with windows10.

I Checked FAQ, and changed ini.file setting "runinwindow no" into "yes".
I Running with 16-bit mode, It indicates black window and 2 error massages.

1. Failed to initialize the graphic display
2. Content Create Error : -2147467259

I would like to seek your advice on these error.

Comp Specs:
ThirdwaveCo. i7; 16gb ram; 1Tb hdd; GeForce GTX1070ti ; Win10

Hello. So, Windows 10 does not really support 16-bit color depth.

If you want to run the game full screen on Windows 10, check this out: https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=223629

If you want to run the game in a window, I've created a video tutorial showing you how to do that with DxWnd here (be sure to read the video description):

There's another program called DxVoodoo (something like that) but I have not tried that one. Hope this helps you out.
