Default Avast ye scurvy seadogs

I have deep and silent here for a long time so I decided to finally create an account. First caught the itch with Silent Hunter II back in the day and really enjoyed it. Tried my hand at Sub Command and failed miserably then didn't the genre again until Silent Hunter III in which I fell in love again until real life caught up and I again dropped out.

4 or 5 years ago? IIRC I came across FPSchazly's sonar tutorials and decided hey I should give it a try again being older, wiser, and hopefully more patient so I bought 688, Sub Command, and Dangerous Waters and fell back in love again until my computer died. RIP. Built a new rig earlier this year and didn't give much thought about sub games other than watching the occasional video from FPSchazly then I saw the Silent Hunter series on sale and scooped up 3 and 4 and been having a blast even rewatched Das Boot again. So long story short thought I would create an account!
