No renown at career start?

Hi
I’ve got a version of sh3 running, from steam. I’ve set the exe to win XP 3 compatibility and it’s running in 1024 x 768 n a widescreen so black bars each side.
Anyway...
I’ve done all 5 academy missions with 4 excellent and 1 average. Started a new career and there no renown shown.
Huh?

Any idea why/where it is?

Hi SonarBoy A Warm Welcome Back to Subsim Salute Sir

have you played a single mission first when you do that SH3 Creates a SH3 Folder in your Documents for all your Carrer saves ect.

I would also recommend using the Commander Mod it allows you to change number of days spent in port between patrols download link below

Well...well...730 days there was no bad holiday between shifts..as an example.

Read Manual Page 5.
Select Exam for every academy mission, not Training.
Only on Exam the Renown is collected.

If you have done that, you have a broken install.
Go blame steam then.

To cheat Renown read this as an example (among alot others on Subsim):
