Hull damage repair

In SH4 what can you do to get visual hull damage repaired. Does what port you go to make a difference? I go for refit, say at Pearl, but damage is still visible on hull, you can still see inside sub. Thank you all.

A refit itself won't repair it visually, you have to end the patrol. While the damage may be repaired, your hull integrity damage is still there until you end patrol and port.

I never looked at the hull damage I've "earned", so am unsure how it's portrayed when viewing the hull, but refitting at a non-home remote base only repairs equipment damage. You need to end the patrol to clear the hull damage.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread but i just started replaying sh4 and unlike sh5 i can't see my hull integrity damage % anywhere ?

if you go to the page with all your equipment listed, and look in the top left, you'll see a number, the lower these are, the better, as it doesn't work off of a %, just numbers, 000 you've just left port, 004 a dept charge glanced off your conning tower, 094 your boat is pretty much collapsing, start running for home but for the love of god don't go past periscope dept

Sorry the only thing i see is the name of my sub in the maintenance. Not even the three 000. Vesion 1.5 steam. Do i have to take damage before i see the 000?

What mods are you running? Might have to have Steam verify your files if it's not a mod issue.

the screen print was taken while the sub was on patrol.
you have to be on patrol to see the fourth tab. it is for damage control.
