He was in tons of shows and movies, but only occasionally the lead. A great and very familiar face on TV while I was growing up

the first movie I ever saw in a theatre was The Apaloosa 1966, with Saxon and Brando, earning Saxon a golden globe nomination. Still one of my favorites.
