Cannot initialize 3D engine with widescreen mods

Hello!

After a 2 year break, I got into SH3 again. I was surprised to see if I started the game with any widescreen mod enabled, I got the 3D initialize error message. If I start the game in the original resolution, it works without problem.

I have 2 different install, one with GWX, another with LSH3, with their own Widescreen mods (Conus' SH3GWX and the LSH3's built-in mod). Both version have worked without problem for years.

I have the same computer that I used 2 years ago, only different thing is the AMD graphics driver.

Do you have any tips about it? Anyone else experienced it with AMD drivers perhaps?

Hi Solyom2 try setting your display resolution through your GPU and not your desktop display I have a nvidia 1650 you must have something similar to the nvidia control panel for your AMD Gpu

Also when you installed your new AMD Gpu did you just install the driver cd software if so i would go to the AMD site and download the lastest drivers for your GPU.
